The service is available in Spanish Sunday - Thursday, 4 - 10 p.m. for students needing help in math and science.

Live Homework Help connects students to expert tutors via the Internet in an online classroom where the tutor and student can chat, use typing and math tools, browse the Web together, send files for review, and print their session. All Live Homework Help tutors are rigorously trained through The Tutor.com Tutor Certification Program, ensuring high standards for safety, quality, and expertise. They successfully complete a comprehensive application process, which includes submitting a resume and several tutoring samples as well as receive a third - party background check and have their educational background verified.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Although the holiday is a fairly new one, it honors a man considered by Time Magazine to be one of the 100 most important people of the 20th century. Library books about Dr. King include:
Martin's Big Words J 92 King
At Canaan's Edge: America During the King Years, 1965 - 1968 323.119 Branch
The Dream B King
There are many good websites, and this one is one of the best for information about Dr. King.
